This analysis is on the next 8 chapters of the book Deadline by Chris Crutcher. The book is set in modern times in a little town called Trout with only a population for 943 people. Ben wolf, Dallas, susuki and Cody Wolf are the main characters so far in the book.

The main conflict is that is dying and he wont tell anyone about it. He wanted to get a girlfriend and he ended up finally getting Dallas. Ben (123 pounds) is now somehow starting on the huge football team. He is getting his dream but its sad because he is dying.

the book i am reading is deadline by Chris Crutcher. This analysis is on the first 6 chapters of the book.

Ben Wolf, a normal high school senior wanted to have a great year. He is a very smart character, he likes to interrupt and the death thing really hits his personality. He isnt really afraid of anything because he has nothing to lose, that really is what makes this book great. But after finding out from the doctor he only had one year to live he decided to make the year a little more exciting. Ben decided to not tell ANYONE that he was dying because he did not want to worry anybody. He decided to join the football team and everyone doesnt know why he joined because he is really skinny. This book is getting exciting!

This book is funny, emotional and exciting at the same time because i always wonder what will happen next.

Today Olivia's grandma came in to help the high schoolers with writing. Really it was on my and Alex because no one else was here. She helped us with our punctuation and grammar and i corrected my paper(it took a long time). I ate lunch with bo and we had a really good music day. Me and Alex can now play the whole Gives You Hell!

this past week has been pretty eventful!

yesterday we took the psat all morning and it sure was tiring!

we had to wake up 2 hours earlier than usual.

today was a straight normal day, we worked on pbl in the afternoon though because we had no design.

I got a lot of things accomplished in school today.

I finished some math, perfected my essay,

and perfected my calender.

Me and Randy are working on a pbl that involves video games such as empire total war.

Today was a pretty ordinary day...i got a test done and i got a great grade though! we had the same routine, except we have a rough draft essay due tomorrow which i need to start getting to work on. tennis was fun we worked on serves and i am starting to read my book "Nation". we kind of started tennis late so we got back late and had a short design...the oh website really looks cool! i love the moving people in the background.

today was a great day with a lot of things done!
we worked on our hybrid car essay and we learned about thesis's and introduction paragraphs.

Tennis was also good!(it wasnt even hot)

we all had a great time drawing ourselves aswell in design it was very funny.

Happy birthday Ellee! Today was a very productive day, i studied for my spanish test. We even had cupcakes from sweet jeni's! We had an intresting brain break because only highschoolers were here and we played dodgeball. i got hit in the face! today was a great day.
